Clinton Police Officers were dispatched to 425 South Pawnee Street after receiving a call about suspicious activity. Unfortunately after leading Clinton Police on a pursuit through the City, the suspects fled on foot into a wooded area. Police are now looking for the suspects in the case.

Upon arrival in the area Clinton Police located the vehicle the reporting party had identified and attempted to initiate a traffic stop while it was still in the business's parking lot on South Pawnee Street.  The vehicle's driver did not yield to emergency equipment and led the Clinton Police on a pursuit through the City. During the pursuit the vehicle's driver took several wrong turns and had to drive past officers' locations several times, giving officers a good look at the driver's face.

The pursuit ended around Calvird Drive and Highway 13. The driver and passenger of the Mustang pulled into a grassy area and fled on foot into a wooden area. Clinton Police deployed a drone to canvas the area for the suspects with negative results.
