One of the Best Cities for Families is Almost Nearly in Missouri

I realize that I'm going to have a lot of explaining to do with this one because it's a brand new 2024 ranking of the best cities to raise a family in the United States. One of the top ones is almost nearly in Missouri. It really might as well be in Missouri. The best parts kind of are in Missouri. Now, let the explaining begin.

This isn't my list, but a brand new one for 2024 from Homesnacks. The methodology they used to determine the best cities for families was interesting. They included these factors:

• Family Friendly Amenities Score
• Violent Crimes Per 100k
• Property Crimes Per 100k
• Households With Kids

Coming in at #3 on the list is the nearly Missouri place as you can see on their map.

That big blue dot on the screen that's almost in Missouri is Overland Park...Kansas. Yes, it's Kansas, but it might as well be in Missouri. Here's my 4 reasons for saying that.

1. Overland Park is considered part of the Kansas City area
2. We all know the best parts of Kansas City are in Missouri
3. Therefore, Overland Park is considered a Missouri place
4. Someday we Missourians will invade Kansas and take Overland Park for ourselves

Homesnacks says that Overland Park schools are "off-the-charts good" plus divorce rates are low and families are happy (even happier once they realize they are now part of Missouri though).
