If you're like me you're ready for warmer weather and planning summer vacations. If you're headed to Kansas City, you will want to stop at Worlds of Fun.

The new coaster Zambezi Zinger was just named by USA Today as one of the top ten new attractions for 2024. The coast just opened in 2023, so if you didn't get a chance to ride it this year could be the year.

Inspired by one of the longest rivers in all of Africa, the Zambezi Zinger offers a new take on one of Worlds of Fun's most famous attractions, offering 2,428 feet of steel and wooden track and speeds that top out at 45 miles per hour.

The start of the ride is simple and then it catapults you through 74 feet tall, 2,482 feet long, goes 45 miles per hour, and the ride lasts 2 minutes.

Worlds of Fun will always have a special place in my heart. I was on my high school senior trip (GO CLASS OF '99) and I rode my first roller coaster the Mamba. Yes, I was tall enough. A 205-foot tall high-speed coaster for my first ever roller coaster ride. Did I mention it has not one but two LARGE drops? I have not been on a coaster since, but I am not a roller coaster fan. If you are then you're going to enjoy this coaster.
