Experts claim Missouri is NOT a Top Beer State in the US
Missouri is home to so many great breweries so why is it not a top beer state in the US? Here is what the "experts" had to say...
According to a ranking from Indianaontap.com, Missouri is the 11th-best beer state in the US, just narrowly missing out on the top 10 ranking. Missouri falls behind states like Wisconsin, Vermont, Michigan, Colorado, and more. I was shocked not to see Missouri in the top 5 let alone the top 10, what does the site say about Missouri?
"Sure, the baseball stadium in St. Louis was named for beer before stadium naming rights really became a thing, but Missouri has plenty going for it beer-wise besides a certain iconic American brand calling it home. Boulevard is NOT made of broken dreams, but rather delicious beer, particularly their Belgian stuff. And right in Budweiser’s backyard you’ve got standout brews from the likes of Schlafly and Perennial. Have you had the latter’s Barrel-Aged Abraxas? No? You should do something about that."

So they don't exactly HATE on Missouri, but they still rank it behind a bunch of states I wouldn't put Missouri behind. As a beer lover myself I would say that Missouri is a top 5 best states for beer along with Michigan, Colorado, Wisconsin, and Illinois. Illinois being ranked 13th is a whole other frustrating thing about this ranking. I just don't understand how a state that is home to Budweiser, Boulevard, Schlafly, 4 Hands, and so many more could not make the top 10 on this list. Do you think Missouri is a top 10 beer state in the US?
