Meet Hillary Scott’s Twin Girls, Betsy and Emory
Lady Antebellum's Hillary Scott and her husband Chris Tyrrell have announced more details about the birth of their twin daughters! The two new babies join big sister Eisele in the musical family.
On Monday (Feb. 5), one week after their birth, Scott revealed her new daughters' names: Betsy Mack and Emory JoAnn. Both weighed 5.5 pounds and measured 17 inches long at the time of their birth.
"Their favorite place to be, other than on me, is nose to nose and cheek to cheek," Scott shares. "Big sister Eisele’s heart is full of love for her sisters, and she is already such an incredible little helper. One week in, and we are definitely seeing double! Double the blessing, double the tired, double the laundry, but double the love!"
Scott's two new daughters were born around 2AM on Jan. 29, according to an Instagram post (so, good thing Scott stayed home from the Grammys!). The family did not reveal their names at the time, instead sharing a photo of two baby hats, one inscribed with "A" and one with "B."
"Thank you to everyone who prayed and prayed for these little ladies," the Instagram post reads, in part, "and thank you Lord for healthy babies."
Scott and Tyrrell first announced Scott's pregnancy on Aug. 17. They then shared the news of their newest children's gender in September.
Scott's Lady Antebellum bandmate, Dave Haywood, and his wife Kelli also recently welcomed a new child. The trio wrapped up their You Look Good Tour at the end of the summer, after canceling their concerts in South Africa due to health concerns during Scott's pregnancy. This summer, they will be on the road with Darius Rucker.
