Sedalia Police were dispatched to a call in the 1200 block of East 12th Street late Saturday night.

A caller called requested an ambulance, and then hung up with no further information given.

Upon arrival, Officers located the subject, who appeared to be heavily intoxicated, laying in the bushes of a nearby residence.

Officers requested medical for treatment, but the subject refused treatment and began walking through yards to get away from Officers.

The subject then stepped out onto South Engineer Avenue in front of a car. When being told he was under arrest, the subject resisted officers, trying to pull away and get away from them.

Anthony J. Skutnick Jr., 31, of Sedalia, was taken into custody without further incident and taken to the BRHC to be checked out. Skutnick was then transported to the Pettis County Jail, where he was placed on a 12-hour protective custody hold.

Charges were requested for Trespassing and Resisting Arrest.
