I've done research and found different supplements and home remedies to help you drift off to la la land but this one is something new to me.

With my morning gig at the radio station, I have to get up at O' dark thirty. With this comes the luxury of trying to shut down your brain at O' light thirty. In other words I have to get to bed before nine to get a decent night's sleep but my brain doesn't always agree with this.

It's tough trying to go to bed when your body is fighting against you, so trying to find that right "elixir" to help is sometimes next to impossible. I ran across this last week in an email. I've yet to try it but it makes sense.

Boiled Banana tea. Before you say anything, listen to the benefits. According to reports this banana-infused sleep remedy works wonders. How does this happen?

Bananas, especially the peels, are loaded with potassium and magnesium. So what does this mean to you? Well, the potassium works to prevent sleep disturbances and the magnesium is known as one of the strongest relaxation minerals on earth. The two together combine to help your muscles relax.

So get an organic banana, cut off the ends, and put it into a pot of boiling water. (peel and all) Boil it for about 10 minutes, and drain.

Now here's the best part...if you feel like you've wasted a banana...surprise! Peel the banana, add some cinnamon and eat a warm gooey desert. (You can also add some cinnamon to the tea while it is brewing, depending on taste).

I'm going to try it and see if it's my new sleep-aid to help me sleep. Good luck and go bananas!
