Fishing With a Vet Brings Big Turnout, Buck Contests in Full Swing
The MO Kids Outdoors Fishing With a Vet had an awesome turnout last weekend! The weather was great, and we had about 100 kids come enjoy the great outdoors. Everyone went home with a prize package including fishing information, tackle and certificates from DQ.
The archery range was busy from start to finish. We used a side by side ATV to take kids from the lake to the archery range on our trailer lined with hay bales. The kids were calling it the "mini hay ride." Thanks to all of our sponsors who helped make the event possible, including the Missouri Department of Conservation and Sedalia Parks for the equipment and use of the park.
The Trail Cam contest is still going on, so keep sending those photos in for a chance to win a brand new Trail Cam from Stone Laser Imaging or a trophy rock from Young's Ag Vet in Sedalia.
Make sure you get registered for our Big Buck contest too. You can print off the registration form and learn about the great prizes you could win at the official rules page. You'll be entered to win prizes just for signing up! All proceeds from the Big Buck contest will be split between MO Kids Outdoors and Remember to Dream, an organization that provides therapeutic horse riding for adults, children and those with special needs.
We're still looking for a winner from our DQ Question, so enter for your chance to win. Remember to be safe and shoot straight. Until next time!
