‘Fast and Furious 7’ Extended Trailer: It’s Game Time
If you didn’t tune in for tonight’s premiere of DIG on USA, then you probably missed this new extended trailer for Furious 7. No worries—our latest action-packed sneak peek of the upcoming sequel has arrived online for your viewing pleasure. Although it packs some of the footage we’ve already seen in previous trailers, this extended look includes some new stuff we haven’t seen before and offers plenty to get your motor runnin’.
The newest preview for Furious 7 offers an extended look at the plane sequence that’s gotten us so hyped up in the trailers, as the crew drives cars out of an airplane. Yes, you read that correctly: they drive cars OUT of an airplane. It’s just as awesome as we’d been hoping and gives us a taste of what’s in store.
Here’s the official synopsis, which reads more like a who’s who of awesome cast members, which is more than okay:
Continuing the global exploits in the unstoppable franchise built on speed, Vin Diesel, Paul Walker and Dwayne Johnson lead the returning cast of Furious 7. James Wan directs this chapter of the hugely successful series that also welcomes back favorites Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster, Tyrese Gibson, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, Elsa Pataky and Lucas Black. They are joined by international action stars new to the franchise including Jason Statham, Djimon Hounsou, Tony Jaa, Ronda Rousey and Kurt Russell. Neal H. Moritz, Vin Diesel and Michael Fottrell return to produce the film written by Chris Morgan.
James Wan directed Furious 7, taking a step away from his usual horror offerings to take on the high octane and totally bonkers world of Fast and Furious. We have a feeling Wan is bringing some interesting sensibilities and ideas to the sequel, and we can’t wait to see what this installment delivers.
Furious 7 hits theaters on April 3.
