The next Pettis County Pachyderm meeting is at 12 p.m. Friday, April 21 at the Heckart Community Center, 1800 W. 3rd, in Community Room C.

Special guests will be Patty Wood, US Department of Agriculture Beef Promotion & Research Board Member who will speak about the beef cattle industry and its impact on the local economy, and David Dick, president of the Missouri Beef Cattlemen's Association. Both are willing to respond to questions at the end of their remarks.

Meals are $6 each at the Senior Center, or you can bring your own food to the event. Friday's menu at the Senior Center is spaghetti and meatballs, carrots, spinach, wheat roll, pears, or Cooks Feature.

The public is invited to attend.
