Pleasant Hill UMC to Hold ‘Bring Your Dog to Church’

Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church, 30219 Pleasant Hill Road, Sedalia, will have “Bring Your Dog to Church” day on Sunday, Sept. 22 at 10:15 a.m.
Church service will be held under a tent. All dogs need to be on a leash, up to date on their shots and non-aggressive.
Participants are encouraged to bring an offering of bleach for the animal shelter. The Sedalia Animal Shelter goes through about three gallons of bleach per day to keep animals in a clean, healthy environment while they await a loving home.
Shelter representatives will also be there with some dogs. There will be dog treats and the blessing of the dogs after the service.
