Donkey Day Celebration Planned at Peaceful Pastures

Peaceful Pastures Donkey Rescue will host a Donkey Day Celebration from 10 a.m., to 6 p.m. Saturday, May 6 at 24507 Kelly Lane in Lincoln, Mo. (just past Charley's Buffet).

Admission is $10 for adults, $7 for teens and $5 for kids over the age of three.

At the open house, you will get to meet and greet with over 250 donkeys, and learn about donkeys and why Peaceful pastures rescue them.

There will be donkey-related craft activities and also learn about honey bees.

Food and snacks will be available for purchase.

You can get your picture taken with Fiona and Donkey, and you can also feed the goats.

There will be games, prizes and a bounce house for the kids.

In addition, there will be a silent auction at the event.

Also, there will be an assortment of Peaceful Pastures branded shirts, hoodies and more available for purchase.

PPDR is s 501(c) (3) non-profit organization. All proceeds from the event will go toward the purchase of food and medical care for the donkeys. All donations are tax-deductible.
