Congratulations are in order to Eli Young Band frontman Mike Eli and his wife, Kacey, who have welcomed their second child, a son named Kash. According to People, Kash Eli was born at 8:32AM in Dallas, Texas, and weighed 6 lbs, 7 oz.

In an Instagram post, Eli shared a snapshot of himself and his infant son on Monday (July 9), with a caption announcing the news. "The EYB family grew today by welcoming a little boy to the world!" he writes. "Kash Eli was born happy and healthy this morning, and we couldn't be any happier. Thanks for all the well wishes! We truly are a lucky family."

Baby Kash joins a big sister, Kline Olivia, who will turn six at the end of July. Eli isn't the only member of the EYB to welcome a child in recent years: Guitarist James Young welcomed a daughter earlier in 2018, and bassist Jon Jones celebrated the birth of his second child, Lila, in 2016.

Shortly after Kline's birth in 2012, Eli told People that becoming a father has always been important to him. "A lot of people tell you that they can't explain fatherhood because no one can know that feeling until you actually hold your child for the first time," he explains. "I've always wanted to be a father. I never had that moment where I thought I'd wait forever or love having no responsibility. I've always looked forward to having kids."

In addition to taking care of their growing families, the Eli Young Band has kept busy over the past couple of years, releasing their most recent album, Fingerprints, in 2017. In May of 2018, the group also released a new song, "Love Ain't," the video for which spotlights the story of a U.S. Navy explosive ordinance disposal (EOD) technician, Taylor Morris, who became a quadruple amputee in 2012 after suffering injuries from an explosion while serving in Afghanistan. The video showcases photographs and video of his recovery, as well as the love story of Morris and his dedicated girlfriend, Danielle.
