It all started in 2019. My wife and I were introduced to the Keto diet but since the COVID-19 pandemic has hit, we haven't done too well. Unfortunately I've gained back some of the weight.

I don't know if it was just the stress of everything going with the coronavirus that really derailed us or if we used that as an excuse. But I think it's time to jump back on the bandwagon so we can shed the baggage that we gained back.

My wife and I started on the Keto diet at the end of April last year. The transition was easier than we thought it would be, but then I had to deal with people bringing in all the goodies to work that I couldn't have. The struggle was real.

Maybe you've heard of the Keto diet. We had heard about it for some time. After seeing posts on Facebook from friends, we decided to take the plunge.

So, what is it that we were doing without? Most fruit, (loaded with sugar) no sugar, and no flour. There's a few other food items we can't have but for the most part, that's it. So needless to say, doughnuts were not something that was on our list of "can-eats".

But I have to say, all-in-all, we enjoyed making the switch to Keto. We got to eat a lot of really good food and we saw the results from both the scales and from our clothes fitting looser.

But dang it...why do they keep bringing in those doughnuts! <sigh> Ok...time to get back on track!
