Dinner or Supper: What Do Missourians Call the Evening Meal? [POLL]
I remember a time when some neighbors and I decided to get together for dinner. We decided that we would light the grill and they would bring a dish to pass. Imagine our surprise when our neighbors were on the doorstep at noon for our gathering.
It seems their meals are "breakfast, dinner and supper." It has always been "breakfast, lunch and dinner" in my house.
Although my mother used to say supper, lunch was always lunch. I've heard it said both ways around here, but I'm not sure which is more popular. So I've decided to put up a poll. Click below and tell us.
