Luke Bryan and Dierks Bentley are returning to co-host the 2017 ACM Awards on Sunday night (April 2), and the two are ready to make the evening special for the stars and fans in attendance as well as those watching at home. Both Bryan and Bentley acknowledge that being in Las Vegas, Nev., adds a little something extra to the awards show festivities.

“I think the Vegas factor is always very important for the whole vibe of the show," Bryan tells Tempo magazine (quote via CMT). "The fans are coming out here, and you can just feel it in the room that everybody is excited to be in Vegas. It feels like a party, and I think it’s kind of up to Dierks and me to create that vibe onstage — create it for the artists in the room and certainly for the fans in the room at home."

Bentley tells Billboard that being in Vegas makes the ACM Awards "just a total party."

"I always look forward to getting out there and seeing everyone," he adds.

Bryan has been co-hosting the ACM Awards for five years now, first with Blake Shelton and now with Bentley. Bentley, meanwhile, is back for his second year in 2017, and ready to no longer be the rookie host.

"From start to finish, being part of the creative conversations, from the monologue to my performance, makes the whole experience something I look that much more forward to this year," Bentley says. "The show [last year] was loose and a lot of fun with Luke. I definitely want to carry that into this year.”

The 2017 ACM Awards are set to air live on CBS beginning at 8PM ET. For the first time ever, the show will take place at T-Mobile Arena.
