Country Stars’ First Tweets
Almost everyone has a Twitter account these days. The social media site is such a mainstay on the internet that it seems like it's been around forever. But there was a time -- not too long ago, in fact -- when Twitter was just starting out, and thanks to the platform's #FirstTweet tool, it's easy to look back in time to see the first-ever tweets from, well, whoever you want.
With the help of the #FirstTweet tool, we took a look back at some of our favorite country stars' accounts to see the first words they submitted to the "Twitterverse." Some of the tweets are pretty normal ... but some are straight-up hilarious. A handful of artists, such as Lady Antebellum, used their first tweets to promote a new song or video, while others, including Carrie Underwood and Keith Urban, simply introduced themselves to their fans. Taylor Swift posted a simple re-tweet of a Justin Bieber video, while Blake Shelton made his new followers laugh with a joke about rice.
