The State Fair Community College Roadrunner Booster Club invites the community to meet coaches and student-athletes from all the sports programs from 6-7:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 20, in the Fred E. Davis Multipurpose Center on the Sedalia campus.

Earlier this year, SFCC announced four new sports for the 2021-2022 season. Those sports are esports, track and field, cross country, and clay target shooting.

Head coaches are Jaime Beltran, men and women’s soccer; Matt Brown, men’s basketball; Nicole Collier, women’s basketball; Jud Kindle, baseball; Lyndsey Talbot, softball; Bailey Graceffa, Spirit Squad; Jacob Coleman, esports; Wayne Ogle, golf; Brad Hagedorn, men and women’s track and field and cross country; Sarah Manuel, clay target shooting.

Coaches will talk at 6:30 p.m. about their teams, assistants, schedules, and plans for the upcoming season. Darren Pannier, SFCC’s Athletic director, will be available to answer questions, and Booster Club members will be on hand to talk about its role in supporting all the student-athletes.

The Booster Club will have free popcorn and soda from 6-6:30 p.m. Rowdie the Roadrunner, SFCC’s mascot, will be there to visit with fans and kids.
