Earlier this week, Moniteau County Sheriff's deputies arrested a 35-year man on drug charges after responding to a reported disturbance at a residence in Clarksburg, MO.

According to a report from the Moniteau Co. Sheriff's Dept, deputies arrived at the residence and made contact with the subjects. During the investigation, drug paraphernalia was reportedly observed inside the home.

Deputies then sealed the residence and applied for a search warrant.

On Tuesday (Apr 3), deputies received and executed the search warrant. The report indicates that drug paraphernalia, methamphetamines, and firearms were recovered from the residence.

Deputies arrested Daniel K. Purnell for Possession of a Controlled Substance (meth) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Purnell was taken to the Moniteau County Jail with bond set at $35,000.
