The Warrensburg Chamber of Commerce Governmental Relations Committee is hosting a Candidate Forum on Wednesday, October 16 at 5:30 p.m. at The American Legion Post 131 in Warrensburg.

The forum is for candidates running in contested races in the November 5 General Election for U.S. Representative District 4, Missouri State Senator District 31, Missouri House of Representatives District 54, and 57.

The November 5 General Election will include candidate races for federal, state, and county offices that are up for election.

The committee has selected the following contested races for four offices invited to the Chamber Candidate Forum.

For U.S. Representative District 4 Mark Alford (Rep.) Jeanette Cass (Dem.) Thomas Holbrook (Lib.) For State Senator – District 31 Rick Brattin (Rep.) Raymond L. James (Dem.) For State Representative – District 54 Brandon Phelps (Rep.) Eric Stevens (Dem.) For State Representative – District 57 Rodger L. Reedy (Rep.) Michael D. Walbom (Dem.)

The Chamber’s Governmental Relations Committee accepted questions to be considered for possible use in the Forum.

The forum is open to the public, and candidates from all parties have been invited to a “Meet & Greet” after the formal portion of the forum. By the end of October, a forum recording will be available as a link through the Warrensburg Chamber of Commerce's social media.
