Many families went out in the rain to State Fair Community College to enjoy some fun indoors for the annual "Bring Mom to the Daum" event today (May 10).

The event at the Daum Museum of Contemporary Art featured several art activities, as well as a Mother’s Day card-making station, caricatures by SFCC alumnus Dustin Mothersbaugh, live music by harpist Abigael Green, and a photo booth for costumed family snapshots and the first 100 mothers were given a free flower.

The event gave patrons the chance to walk through the Daum Museum as a family and hope everyone had a great time.

The Daum Museum student show wrapped up with this event. The Daum Museum will be open for the summer with more exhibits coming, so hope you get a chance to enjoy art in Sedalia.
