I know that a lot of you out there have had some babies over the years.  One, two, nine, what have you - babies are freggin' everywhere. As they say, raising kids doesn't come with a manual... OR DOES IT? Bothwell has some classes you can take coming up so you're not completely clueless when there's a baby in your life! From labor and delivery to caring for a newborn, breastfeeding and infant safety, Bothwell Regional Health Center educates parents on what to expect. The three separate classes are designed to provide the information you need to get off to a good start with your newborn.

Classes are free, but preregistration is required. Each class is taught by a nurse specially trained in pregnancy, labor, childbirth and parenting skills. Labor and the Birthday Party should be taken first. Taking Care of Your Newborn and Breastfeeding or Just Thinking About It can be taken in any order.

Sedalia classes are held in the Bothwell Education Center on the southeast corner of 14th and Ingram. Classes in Warsaw are held at Bothwell Health Center – Truman Lake, 1765 Commercial. Participants should dress comfortably and casually. To enroll for classes, please print and complete the registration form, and mail as directed.  You also may email your information to classes@brhc.org or call (660) 827-9138. Class sizes are limited, so early registration is encouraged.
