The boil advisory issued for the City of Knob Noster on Thursday morning has been lifted, according to Utility Clerk Trisha Wilcox.

The City of Knob Noster was under a boil advisory due to a water main break on the southwest side of town.

Residents living on the southwest side were without water while the rest of the town had low pressure, Wilcox noted, due to a water main break on South State Street directly north of the school’s bus barn and east of the high school football field.

Both of the City's water tanks were nearly empty as a result.

Water service was restored just before 4 p.m. Thursday. And the boil order was lifted around 11:30 a.m. Saturday.
