KMOS-TV and Kix 105.7 have another opportunity for you to experience a preview of "Country Music" a film by Ken Burns. "Country Music" explores the genre "from its deep and tangled roots in ballads, blues and hymns performed in small settings, to its worldwide popularity." Additionally the film will show it's evolution throughout the twentieth century, feature never before seen pictures and footage, and over eighty interviews with country stars.

Our final preview of "Country Music" is Thursday September 12 at  the Twomey Auditorium in the Wood Building on the campus of the University of Central Missouri in Warrensburg. The screening is at 7:00PM CDT and doors open at 6:30PM CDT.

The public is invited and admission is free. Kix 105.7 and KMOS-TV request that you R.S.V.P. here so we can gauge how many people will be attending the event.

"Country Music" will premiere on KMOS-TV Sunday September 15 at 7:00PM CDT. Parts two, three, and four, will then air on Monday September 16, Tuesday September 17 and Wednesday September 18 at 7:00. The final four parts will air Sunday-Wednesday at 7:00PM CDT starting Sunday September 22.
