A Pedestrian was Killed After Being Struck by a Vehicle in Johnson County
A Kansas City man was killed Sunday night after being struck by a vehicle in Johnson County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported that a 2007 Dodge Charger struck and killed 25-year-old Demetrius A. Hayden, of Kansas City, MO, just before 10:00 Sunday night.
The accident occurred on Highway 50, just west of PCA Road.
The body was taken to Sweeney, Phillips, and Holdren Funeral Home.
The driver of the Dodge, 19-year-old Aaron D. Collins, of Ottawa, KS, was not injured, according to that report.
