5 Part Time Jobs Your Teenager Can Get In Sedalia (Non Fast Food Edition)
It must have been a really hard year for the kids here in Sedalia. And all around the country, obviously. When I was a teenager, if you wanted a part time job while you were in school, they were pretty easy to get. Most places just need a cashier or something simple. Admittedly, I did not survive the fast food world in high school and just did a ton of extra curriculars. It just wasn't for me. Maybe the fast food route isn't for your kid either. And with all the chaos the pandemic has brought, it might make getting a job even more difficult. BUT, never fear, I have done a good half of the work for your kiddos. Here's just a smattering of places here in Sedalia that are hiring at least part time - and you can apply online!
1. Casey's General Store - Store Team Member.
You can apply on Glassdoor. They say they're looking for part time and full time help, although it doesn't say specifically which store you're applying to.
To all teenagers who are looking for their first job, Casey's is here for you! As long as you're 16 year's old, you can apply to gain valuable work experience while also assisting your community. We can work around your academic and sports activities as they change throughout the school year.
2. Tractor Supply Company - Part Time Cashier.
You can apply on Geebo. I think they take applications online through their website, too.

4. Buffalo Wild Wings - Part Time Cashier.
You can apply on Learn4Good. One thing though, this one does say they want you to have some experience. So it might not be good for someone right out the gate, but if they've had a job or something it sounds fun.
One minute you’ll find just the right spot for a Little League team celebrating their latest win, the next you’re managing takeout orders and helping Guests pay for their orders. As a Cashier, you’ll make a great first impression with each and every Guest and greet hungry sports fans like they’re part of our team.
5. Shoe Sensation - Part Time Sales Associate.
You can apply on Glassdoor. You can apply on LinkedIn, but you gotta have an account, I think. This one is obviously all about shoes, so if your kid is 16 and doesn't have a problem with feet, you should be good to go.
Our part-time sales associate interacts with our customers, helps them find the right shoe for their needs, helps them find the right size, encourages them to buy other shoes or accessories, and ultimately give the customers the best experience possible along with maintaining a clean and safe environment for our customers. We are looking for someone wants a part-time position, not afraid of some work, loves interacting with the general public, and of course loves shoes!
