Martina McBride, Brett Eldredge and Kellie Pickler are among the artists who will help kick off the holiday season during the Christmas in Rockefeller Center special on Nov. 28. Each artist is set to perform during the TV event, along with pop acts including Pentatonix and John Legend, and America's Got Talent winner Darci Lynne Farmer. And, of course, the lighting of the iconic Rockefeller Center Christmas tree will take place during the event, which is set to air on NBC at 8PM ET.

Rosanne Cash She Remembers Everything

Rosanne Cash will be the 38th recipient of the John Lennon Real Love Award. Cash will be presented with the honor on Nov. 30 at the John Lennon Tribute Concert in New York City, according to Rolling Stone, in recognition of her work as a gun control activist. "With her passionate voice as an artist and activist, [she] has enriched American folk and country music traditions, while speaking out against gun violence and urging her fellow country musicians to take a stand for gun control,” Lennon's wife, Yoko Ono, says in a statement. “These are values that John would truly embrace, and I think it is beautiful that Theatre Within is honoring Rosanne with this year’s John Lennon Real Love Award.”

Vince Gill I Still Believe in You Grammys

Vince Gill wasn't able to make it to Wednesday night's (Nov. 14) 2018 CMA Awards because he's been in the hospital battling a kidney stone -- and now, he's had to cancel a few upcoming concerts due to his ailment as well. According to Taste of Country, postponed a performance in Birmingham, Ala., on Thursday (Nov. 15), as well as shows in St. Louis, Mo.; Indianapolis, Ind.; and Danville, Ky., on Friday-Sunday (Nov. 16-18). All dates are expected to be rescheduled.

The Cadillac Three

Thanks to icy winter weather, the Cadillac Three were forced to reschedule a show, originally scheduled for Nov. 15, in Austin, Texas. In a tweet, the band says that "unforeseen road conditions and traffic" on I-40 kept them from making it to the Scoot Inn in time to play. That show has been rescheduled for Jan. 30; the band's upcoming shows this weekend in Dallas and San Antonio will proceed as originally scheduled.

CMT has announced its newest class of the Next Women of Country, and it's full of exciting up-and-coming artists. Tenille Townes, Lauren Duski, Leah Turner, Rachel Wammack, Stephanie Quayle, Ingrid Andress, Anna Vaus and Emily Hackett all were introduced as the network's next round of newcomers during a recent event at Nashville's City Winery.
