$2 Tuesday Is Back at the Missouri State Fair!
With the price of everything going up...gas prices, groceries and so much more, it's nice to see that you can still enjoy yourself at the 2021 Missouri State Fair for as little as two bucks on Tuesday, August 17!
You can help make an impact by supporting the Missouri Farmers Care Food Drive that day. You can take advantage of a $2 gate admission with a minimum donation of 2 cans of food or a $2 donation. Not only will you be helping others but also put cash back in your pocket for some of the special prices that day too.
Most carnival rides will be $2 that day, and there's even savings on some of your favorite fair food and select vendors will also be offering specials for just two bucks!
That Tuesday will be Food Insecurity Day hosted by the Missouri FFA. Their goal is twofold-reduce childhood food insecurity in Missouri, and pack 200,000 child-friendly meals in honor of Missouri’s 200th birthday that will be distributed to six food banks across our state. There will be over 900 FFA members doing service work that day on the fairgrounds.
You can learn more about food insecurity at the canned food display in the Agriculture Building. There you will find a canned food display constructed of 3,000 cans of food donated by Woods Supermarket.
If you're looking for entertainment, it doesn't get any cheaper than free in the Bud Tent! The Clay Clear Band will perform three times that day-2, 6 and 8 pm.
If you're looking for more, look no further than the Tyler Farr and Tenille Townes concert in the State Fair Grandstand. Tickets are available online or at the ticket office.
