The City of Sedalia will close the intersection of East 16th St and S. Ingram Avenue beginning at 7 a.m. on Tuesday, July 12, until 5 p.m. Thursday, July 14, to repair failed stormwater pipe under the roadway.

The utility work will be completed within the intersection, resulting in total closure of the East 16th St. and South Ingram intersection.

The work will consist of replacing the large storm pipe under the roadway and restoration of the asphalt roadway. Travelers routinely using this intersection will need to find alternative routes to their destinations during this construction period.

Residents who park along the curb in the affected area will need to find alternate parking either on side streets or off the alley during this period.

The City apologized for any inconvenience as they work to repair the roadway and improve the quality of stormwater collection service in the area.

Please note that this work is dependent on weather conditions and may be delayed due to rain.
