Weather Definitely Changing in the Next 24-48 Hours

Several showers and thunderstorms are possible this morning into the early afternoon. A few storms may produce locally heavy rain especially to the south and southeast of Kansas City. A line of strong to severe storms is expected to develop across eastern KS late this afternoon and spread into western and northern Missouri during the evening hours. These storms could produce numerous damaging wind gusts as well as very large hail and a few tornadoes.

Temperatures today will hit the low 80's and by tomorrow the highs will be be in the low to mid 60's, a dip of some 20 degrees. Overnight lows will drop from the mid 60's to the low 40's.
