Bennett Oliver hit a two-run single in the bottom of the seventh inning to put Central Missouri in front as the 22nd-ranked Mules completed their comeback from a 5-0 deficit to defeat No. 38 St. Mary's 8-6 on Sunday at Minute Maid Park. The win gave the Mules a 2-2 record at the season-opening Houston Winter Invitational.

For the fourth consecutive season, the No. 25 Mules basketball team reached the 19-win mark following a dramatic, 71-69 win over visiting Missouri Southern on Saturday at the Multipurpose Building. Rakeem Dickerson's go-ahead jumper just in front of the free throw line with five seconds left gave the Mules their fourth-straight win over the Lions in the all-time series.

The Jennies avenged a January 31 road loss at Missouri Southern with a 13-point win against the Lions on Saturday afternoon at the Multipurpose Building.   The Jennies look to extend their win streak to three games next Wednesday, February 11 at Lincoln for a 5:30 p.m. tip-off.   The Mules will follow with a 7:30 start.
