Two people from Lincoln, MO suffered serious injuries in a Thursday night traffic accident involving a motorcycle.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported the accident around 7:30 in Benton County.

A 1999 Ford was traveling south on Highway F, as a 2007 Harley Davidson was heading north. The driver of the Ford, 29-year-old Clayton R. Bunn, of Cole Camp, crossed the center line and struck the Harley Davidson. The motorcycle overturned, ejecting both occupants.

The driver of the motorcycle, 55-year-old Daniel E. Cameron, and an occupant, 50-year-old Michelle D. Cameron, both on Lincoln, suffered serious injuries in the accident. They were flown to University Hospital in Columbia for treatment.

Clayton Bunn was arrested for leaving the scene of an accident (felony) and failing to drive on the right side of the roadway, resulting in a crash. He was placed on a 24-hour hold in the Benton County Jail.
