Would You Rather Wednesday: Naptime or Party Time?
Welcome back to another "Would You Rather Wednesday." I hope you enjoy the break from the everyday grind to contemplate the would you rather question. Thanks to everyone who participates.

The Sedalia City Council met in a work session Monday night to discuss one of the most controversial issues it has faced in years; a smoke-free Sedalia. The council is apparently split on the issue with some councilmen showing a marked timidity on the subject, with others engaging in a heated debate on the subject.
Welcome back to another "Would You Rather Wednesday." We are halfway through the week, and I am going to continue to keep my fingers crossed for some actual Spring weather for this weekend. Let's power together and get through this Hump Day with a "Would You Rather."
Over the weekend, I overheard a woman going on and on about what she wanted for Mother's Day. Diamond earrings, a few hours at the spa and a nice dinner out. Except for one small detail: she didn't have any kids! I almost fell out of my chair when the lady she was with asked, "Your husband does all that and you guys don't even have kids?"
Apparently, they have an agreement that because she could theoretically have kids, she should get a Mother's Day present. Is it just me or is that a little...weird?
This week we ask a complex question. You have the choice to talk to anyone you want to with no language barrier, or you can talk to animals, something many of you probably own or see every single day and are unable to communicate with on a personal level
For years, researchers have told us of the power of a nap. Since then, the term "Power Nap" reared it's ugly head, and a lot of people made it a habit to catch a five or 10 minute snooze in the parking lot, in their car, before coming back into the office at work, for example.
Feeling sleepy? Maybe taking our power nap poll will help you feel a little more awake.
It's Wednesday, and we are all ready to get over this Hump Day and be on the downslide of the week as we look forward to the weekend. I hope the installments of "Would You Rather" help take your mind off of being stuck in the middle of the week, at least for the 57 seconds it takes you to read this and vote on the question.
The Sedalia City Council met in the council chambers of City Hall for a work session Monday night (April 29). There were three items on the agenda, but the one that drew the capacity crowd to the chamber was the proposal that would make Sedalia a smoke-free city.
Sedalia is know to have its fair share of Chinese restaurants. Each of them have there own unique styles. Some of the Chinese restaurants are known for their buffets, some are known for their hibachi style and others are known for sushi. One of my favorite buffets closed down officially a week or two ago, and Joyous Chinese Buffet put up a sign over the weekend saying that they are moving into Asia Hibachi at 1975 West Broadway.
