The Halloween slate of scary movies continues this week, plus we see Keanu Reeves get back into hard-boiled action on the big screen once again.

I'm a person who loves movies. I do like to watch them more often at home, but I'll pop on a movie just about any time. Heck, if you want to get technical (and I know you do) I have a bachelor's degree in Broadcasting and Film.  So yes, I have watched a lot of movies in my time. In my  movie watching prime I was getting through two a night.

'Gone Girl' may have barely won its first weekend at the box office over 'Annabelle,' but in its second week of release, it emerged as the real victor. Fighting off tons of new competition, David Fincher's thriller held onto the number one spot and made it look easy.

Hot on the heels of yesterday's first look comes the first 'Tomorrowland' trailer, which promises to shed more light on one of the most mysterious summer blockbusters in ages. And it does! Sort of. This is the very definition of a teaser trailer.

Following yesterday's glimpse at the first images from 'Focus' comes the first official trailer for what's being described as a con-man romance film from the guys who brought us 'Crazy Stupid Love.' In 'Focus,' Will Smith definitely seems to be playing a slick variation on Ryan Gosling's character from their previous film, and if anyone knows how to play slick and charismatic, it's Will Smith, for sure.

Christopher Nolan's 'Interstellar' may be clinging to classic cinematic traditions by embracing 35mm and 70mm film for its upcoming release, but the massive science fiction adventure isn't being shy about embracing new technology. In addition to screening on IMAX screens all over the country, filmgoers in select cities will soon be able to preview the film in a very unique way: through the Oculus Rift.

The box office can often produce some pretty wacky showdowns, but few have showcased too films as wildly different as 'Annabelle' and 'Gone Girl.' The creepy spin-off from 'The Conjuring' and the latest from director David Fincher battled each other for the number one spot this weekend and while we seem to have a winner, the results are almost too close to call...
