The Sedalia STING Unit arrested 28-year-old Juan Martinez on Wednesday night (Jan. 15) after he was found in possession of a large amount of methamphetamine.

Just after 4:00 this morning (July 4), the Sedalia Police Department STING unit served a no-knock search warrant along with other officers at Apt. 1 at 1319 South Osage. Upon entry to the apartment, officers located one adult and one child. The press release states the adult resisted arrest but was eventually taken into custody without injury.
Yesterday (May 29), the Sedalia Police Department STING Unit and other officers served a search warrant at 2123 West Main. Upon arrival, the residence was secured as well as the occupant. During the search, police found marijuana, drug packaging supplies, digital scale, prescription pills and $1309 in cash.
