ACM nominated duo Dan + Shay spent part of their day in a Nashville-area hospital on Wednesday after Dan Smyers was injured in a car accident.

It's the kind of accident you usually only see in the movies.

When I was a kid, I pretty much just did kid stuff.  I tried to eat candy, I played in the yard, and I didn't have to do anything that you'd qualify as "responsible." Heck, even now I pretty much still eat candy and goof around on the Nintendo.  And then I hear stories like this one, and I'm thinking, "Wow.  This person has done more in one day that I did all year!"

Jason Aldean was onboard his tour bus when a man who reportedly walked in front of it was struck and killed early Monday morning (Oct. 28). Albert Kennedy was pronounced dead at the scene. No one else was injured.
