Monday evening, Officers were dispatched to the 200 block of South Prospect Avenue regarding a report of vandalism. Upon arrival, Officers collected necessary information to generate a report on the incident.


 

Sedalia Police responded to the Big Lots store, 3125 West Broadway Boulevard, for reports of a vandalized window. Upon arrival, Officers collected necessary information to generate a report on the incident.


 

Early Tuesday morning, Officers observed two subjects walking in the 21000 block of South Missouri Avenue. Officers made contact with both parties, and checked their information with Dispatch. It was advised one of the subjects had two Failure to Appear warrants from Pettis County for charges of Driving While Revoked. Chase Andrew Hayworth, 25, of Sedalia, was arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail pending a total cash-only bond of $500.00.

Officers and the Fire Department responded to the 800 block of East 13th Street in reference to a vehicle fire Monday morning. The fire was successfully extinguished. The fire did not appear to be suspicious, and appeared to be electrical. A general information report was completed for documentation.


 

Monday afternoon, Officers conducted a subject check in the lobby of the Police Department in reference to a subject with a full US extradition felony warrant. As Officers attempted to make contact with the subject, he fled on foot. He was soon captured. William Harrison Howe, 55, of Walker Louisiana, was arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail to be placed on a 24-hour hold. Howe was booked in on charges of felony Resisting Arrest and Fugitive From Justice*. Howe also had a warrant issued from Pettis County on July 7th, on felony charges of Kidnapping in the 2nd Degree. Bond on the Pettis County warrant was set at $10,000 cash or surety.


 

On the evening of July 6th, Officers were dispatched to the lobby of the Police Department in reference to a lost property call. The reporting party stated they lost their Social Security card and work ID at the PetSmart store, 4311 Wisconsin Avenue. A report was done to document the incident.


 

Monday morning, Officers were dispatched to the 1300 block of East 11th Street in reference to a domestic disturbance. Upon investigating one of the subjects, an arrest was made. Brandon G. Ray, 38, of Sedalia, was arrested for felony Domestic Assault in the 3rd Degree. Ray was placed on a 24-hour hold pending state charges.


*Due to local laws, Representatives from the Livingston Parrish Sheriff’s Department were unable to provide information over the phone to KSIS regarding the original charges behind Howe’s arrest warrant.
