It was a battle for the Silver Tiger Trophy at Tiger Stadium Friday night. A big crowd and a big win for the Smith-Cotton Tigers, as they defeated Warrensburg, 26-6.

It was a big ground game for Smith-Cotton with 52 carries for 312 yards. The leading ball carrier for S–C was Gauge Young, with 13 carries and 95 yards. Brice Pannier had 10 carries and 49 yards and two touchdowns in the ball game.

The Tigers now are 2-1 on the season. They travel to Pleasant Hill next Friday night to try to extend their wins to three in a row.
