Rain, Hail and/or High Winds a Possibility

Heaven knows we need a good soaking rain in the area.  Could we get at least a portion of that tonight?

According to Dave Clippert of the Sedalia-Pettis County Emergency Management Agency, Pettis County is in a Slight Risk (15%) chance of severe weather today. Main concern is high winds (58 MPH or higher) and large hail (1 inch or larger).  According to the graphic we do not have a tornado risk today. Hot again today with temps in the low 90’s and heat index in the high 90’s.  Looking at a time frame of early evening to late tonight. Have a happy first day of summer! Hopefully we get some rain with this today!
