Pettis County Sheriff’s Reports for July 7, 2023

Pettis County Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the area of West Main Street and South Ohio Avenue Thursday morning. The vehicle had a defective brake light and no front license plate. After an investigation, the driver was placed under arrest. Eric Brown, 32, of Sedalia, was booked and released at the Pettis County Jail on charges of Unlawful Possession of a Weapon.

Wednesday morning, Deputies took a report of theft and recovery of a safe from a resident room at the Pettis County Assisted Living, 3017 Brooking Park Road. The case will be submitted to the Pettis County Prosecuting Attorney's Office.
