Moniteau County Sheriff's deputies recently recovered several thousands of dollars worth of stolen items.

According to a press release from the Moniteau County Sheriff's Department, deputies canvassed a property near Kliever, MO on December 9 after receiving tips from the public.

Deputies reportedly located several items hidden in the woods that appeared to be stolen. The items were seized and taken to the Moniteau County Sheriff's Office.

Further investigation revealed a hydraulic post driver attachment and a mounting plate had been reported stolen a few days earlier from Morgan County. The estimated value of the items was placed at $6,000.

Other items that were located include a 16-foot cattle gate that had been recently reported stolen from Moniteau County and a tool box reported stolen from Cole County in 2014.

The press release indicates all items have been returned to their owners. Authorities say the investigation is ongoing and suspects have been identified, but no names were released.
