Here are our picks for the top categories. Who do you think will win?

Album of the Year

Beau: It seems as if Carrie Underwood walks away with most categories that she's in each year. I'd like to see Maren Morris surprise everyone.

Kurt: I think they're all good nominees. Something tells me it might be Dierks Bentley's year.

Derrick: Storyteller is the winner for me. It has clearly had the most successful singles from the album. I have also seen a lot of praise for Rip Cord, but Carrie Underwood wins this one.

Vocal Group of the Year

Beau: I really like the stuff that Old Dominion is releasing. Maybe an upset in the works?

Kurt: I have to go with Lady Antebellum, just because they came to Sedalia during the Missouri State Fair.

Derrick: Zac Brown Band is amazing and could probably win this award every year in my opinion. But, I am picking Old Dominion. I love everything they have done this and their Meat and Candy album is a lot fun without a bad song on it.

Male Vocalist of the Year

Beau: Dang...sounds like a record year...Eric Church!

Kurt: Chris Stapleton. Doesn't he always win every time he's nominated?

Derrick: Chris Stapleton always wins these awards and it's not going to stop this year. He has several top 10 songs and his Traveler album is still one of the best selling after coming out over a year ago.

Female Vocalist of the Year

Beau: Maren Morris

Kurt: Kelsea Ballerini's had a great year, but I think the award is going to Miranda Lambert.

Derrick: Maren Morris wins this one. Critics love her Hero album and we all love My Church.

Entertainer of the Year

Beau: Can't go wrong with the Garthmeister!

Kurt: It seems like this category is even harder to pick than normal. I think I'll go with Garth.

Derrick: I really want to say Garth but, I going with Keith Urban. He is known for outstanding live shows, has one of the best albums to come out in 2016, and a string of hit songs. Keith Urban wins this year.
