This year marks the 100th anniversary of Girl Scouts selling cookies, and the Sedalia Girl Scouts of the Missouri Heartland Council will be selling cookies at a variety of local businesses until April 2nd.

This weekend, the Girl Scouts will be selling cookies at Wal-Mart. And, on Saturday only (Feb 18), they will be selling cookies at CVS and Ace Hardware.

Girl Scout troops will also be selling at Woods Supermarket in March. Other locations will be announced at a later date.

There are nine varieties of cookies to choose from; Thin Mint, Caramel deLites, Peanut Butter Patties, Lemonades, Peanut Butter Sandwiches, Thanks A Lot, Shortbread, and a new S'Mores cookie. Girl Scout Cookies cost $5.00 a box.

The Scouts also have 'Cookie Share,' where you can donate your Girl Scout cookies to troops overseas.

For more information, call the Sedalia Cookie Cupboard at 827-5851. You can also purchase cookies at the Sedalia Cookie Cupboard any day, from 12pm - 8pm.
