‘Fryin For Rhyan’ Takes Place at Kehde’s May 24

Steve Bloess visited the KIX-105 studio Monday morning to promote "Fryin' for Rhyan," a fish fry to benefit cancer research. The event will take place Tuesday, May 24 from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Kehde's Barbecue, 1915 S. Limit.  A $20 donation is requested, said spokesman Steve Bloess.

"Everyone knows how good Kehde's is, so we'll have their sides and our fish," Bloess said." Allen Young and his dad Sam have a six-basket fryer, they've done this for years and we have a lot of volunteers. It should be a lot of fun."

Bloess is working on securing additional parking for the event, asking businesses to the south of Kehde's to allow patrons to park on their lot during the four-hour event.
