A four-year-old boy was killed and three others injured in a UTV rollover that occurred Sunday afternoon in Pettis County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a 2022 Can-Am side-by-side UTV, driven by 34-year-old April M. Headley of Sedalia, was traveling through a yard at 25312 Liberty School Road (Route U, south of Sedalia) around 4:30 p.m., when the driver made a sharp left turn, and one of the passengers was partially ejected.

A four-year-old boy was pronounced deceased by Paramedic Donnie Morehead at 4:44 p.m. The body was taken to Heckart Funeral Home.

Injured were a three-year-old boy, a six-year-old girl and a seven-year-old girl. All had minor injuries and were transported to Bothwell Regional Health Center for treatment.
