Wings for Wags To Benefit Retrieving Freedom

The fourth annual Wings for Wags, a benefit for Retrieving Freedom, is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 23 from 4 to 8 p.m., in downtown Sedalia at 7th and Ohio, hosted by Craft Beer Cellar.

Wings For Wags began in 2019 as a community-driven fund-raiser to support Veterans and children who receive life-changing Service Dogs.

The first three were sold out and have raised over $20,000.

Participants of the 4th annual Wings for Wags will enjoy over 20 unique wing flavors, cooked by teams competing for trophies. Tyson Foods donates the wings that the teams cook at the event.

There will be a wide range of craft beers on tap.

There will also be a silent auction, raffle prizes, and fun with dogs.

Tickets are $15.

For $30, you get a frisbee and a T-shirt.

Live music will be provided by the band Sweetshot, which is retiring after playing several years in the area. Their last gig will be at Curry's Den on West Main Halloween weekend.
