WILS “Poker4Ramps” Charity-Fundraising Event

WILS is pleased to announce they are hosting a Poker4Ramps Texas Hold’em No Limit Fundraiser. The event will take place Saturday, April 22, 2017 at Player’s Restaurant located at 627 E Russell Avenue, Warrensburg, MO. Proceeds will be used through WILS Ramp Program to build 2 children, ages 5 and 11, ADA compliant wheelchair ramps so they can have safe access to their homes. Kathy Wyatt, WILS Ramp Coordinator “We are hopeful the event will provide enough funds that we can build more than these 2 ramps so wheelchair bound individuals can have safe entry to their homes but first we want to make sure ramps get built for these 2 children”.

Pre-registration can be completed on the Poker4Ramps.org website or you can pick up a registration form at the WILS office located at 610 N Ridgeview Drive, Warrensburg, MO; pre-registrants will receive an extra $1,000.00 in chips. Day of the event registration begins at 1:00p.m. Tournament action will begin at 2:00 p.m. The event will feature a final seat auction, chip raffle, and rebuys.

WILS is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit Center for Independent Living (CIL). A CIL is a community-based, non-residential organization with services designed to meet the needs of people with disabilities in the community to live as independently as possible in their own home. WILS’ home office is in Warrensburg with satellite offices in Sedalia, Odessa, Clinton and Warsaw with services to individuals in Lafayette, Johnson, Henry, Saline, Pettis, and Benton counties
