There will be a Veteran's Appreciation Barbecue held on Saturday, September 13.It'll begin at 4:00 p.m. and continue until 7:00 p.m. on the Pettis County Courthouse Lawn. They'll be serving hamburgers, bratwurst, chips, dessert and drinks for a free will donation. Music by the Lee Stover Band and guest speaker will be Sgt Major Ron Hellesvig of the Missouri Army National Guard. Bring your lawn chairs, come early and stay late.
