Sedalia Stroke Survivors support group provides the opportunity for learning and teaching about the causes, physical and psychological effects and the prevention of stroke. The group brings together people who have had a stroke and their families, friends and caregivers for mutual help and support, and allows them to express their achievements, frustrations and difficulties.
Sedalia Stroke Survivors also serves the community and surrounding areas as a resource of information and encouragement.
The group meets from 11 a.m. to noon the first Friday of each month in the Bothwell Education Center. The group does not meet in January or July.
