The State Fair Community College Horticulture Club will kick off its annual mum and aster sale Sept. 8 in the greenhouse behind the Potter-Ewing Agriculture Building on the Sedalia campus.

Hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9 a.m. to noon Saturday while supplies last.

More than 1,000 mums and asters in many different varieties will be for sale. Mums are $8.50 each or three for $22. Asters are $6 each.

Proceeds will be used to buy equipment and supplies for the horticulture program and greenhouses and to fund educational trips.
